Dallas-Ft. Worth Recap

“What A Blast It Was!”

 All-School Reunion

by Kim (Dubose) Bedsole, ‘81

Thanks to all of you, the reunion was truly terrific! I am alread looking forward to our next.

Upon arriving Friday morning, the hotel was quite busy with all of our Hahn High friends. Walking into the hotel, I could hardly wait to see all of you; I felt like that High School Girl all over again. I knew then that the week-end was worth the wait. Seeing everyone for the first time was the best. Some of us have changed more than others, but after the first sight we seemed to drift back to those high school days and remember the way things were.

Friday night was great, the western attire and dance were so much fun. Yes, it was fun to learn the “Achy Breaky Heart.” Those of you who didn’t participate really missed out; we had a blast, and what a workout in that heat!

Saturday night was far more eventful than we could have planned. Everyone looked great, the guest speakers were great, the food was unbelievable, the entertainment was in tune for all of us, and most of all the people really were glad to be there. The night just flew by, much too quickly for any of us; we all wanted it to last just a few more minutes. When it was time to leave, some of us just couldn’t stop there and continued the party downstairs until the wee hours of the morning.

We were in for a special show that morning. The Cheerleaders and Drill Team Members treated us to a cheer, including a back-flip! Way to go, Gals!!

Sunday morning brunch - we were all there, but there was a sad feeling in the air. All we wanted was for the weekend to start over! But we kept our spirits high, and started planning the next reunion. If you didn’t attend this time, be sure you don’t miss the next one.
